We give 10% of our profits to charities whose work supports children and young people. This year we're excited to announce our main partnership with Spear, who help disadvantaged youth build self esteem and get into work.
We partner with St. Mary's primary school in our village, and many other local schools. We teach the children about where their food comes from, give tours of the dairy and set them ice cream business challenges. Our team members also volunteer at Winchester Homeless Shelter.
Alongside our support for Spear, we also support Naomi House Children's Hospice near Winchester.
We are always making changes to reduce our carbon footprint, such as recycling cardboard, plastic and metal from ingredient packaging, buying energy-efficient equipment, and recycling millions of litres of water every year through our adiabatic cooler (this water cools the freezers). We use local suppliers where possible to reduce food miles.
