Ooo this is exciting...the Jude's Ice Cream website has just got a whole lot more interesting! We can now put pictures up in our news updates. For those people who prefer pretty pictures to words then this is for you, and of course also for those who like both!!
English Rose for Valentines Day

We thought it would be too early to start talking about Valentines day, but it seems that people are already getting excited about this special day that some people love and some people don't love so much.
Many restaurants are coming up with exciting new menus soo at Jude's Ice Cream we too have been conjuring up something for this special day. It is almost time for Jude's to bring out it's English Rose ice cream made with rose water and turkish delight...it's different and it's good!

New year, New Fitness Regimes at Jude's Ice Cream

With 2012 fully underway some of the Jude's Ice Cream team have successfully stuck to their new years resolutions and others have somewhat strayed from theirs.
It seems new fitness regimes are high on the agenda for the year, Jude and her husband are loving their pedometers and Al has successfully been for 1 run this year, keep up the good work team Jude's…maybe we will be ready for another charity bike ride by the end of the year!!

It is a new year, a new month and a new day…the team at Jude's Ice Cream have returned to the dairy after the Christmas break and are ready for the fun to begin. All of the team are looking well and rested, some are browner, some are paler and others are looking full of joy!
Things are pretty exciting here as we begin to conjure up new flavours for 2012, watch this space!

48 Bikes for Uganda

You may remember that a few months ago some of the Jude's Ice Cream team did a charity cycle ride from London to Hayling Island to raise money for HOPE HIV.
Despite the sore legs and bums it was definitely for a worthwhile cause. We have just heard that HOPE HIV have managed to distribute 48 bicycles across Northern Uganda to Human Rights Ambassadors who volunteer for the programme, these Ambassadors visit children in their homes who have issues with abuse and neglect.
Might start the training for next year soon!

Jude's Ice Cream's Modern Day Hero!

We know it's only Monday but at Jude's Ice Cream we already have our hero of the week. Along with rescuing a loose horse a couple of weeks ago, Al also courageously saved a lost dog wondering along the Hampshire lanes. He returned it safely to the dog's owner and as a thank you for his heroic act he got a crate of beer!
It goes without saying that he is a pretty good guy (along with animal lover so it may seem)! We wonder what he is going to save next time, maybe a cat stuck up a tree?!

Christmas Parties & Penguin Ice Cream Makers

The moment we hit December Jude's Ice Cream embraced the Christmas season. On the 1st we had the Jude's team's Christmas party. Turkey was eaten, wine was had and even a few brussel sprouts were consumed!
But the big excitement was the secret santa with the best present being Alex's penguin ice cream maker - we are intrigued whether it will work or not!

At Jude's Ice Cream we like the interesting and quirky things in life, Haruka Ono's 'Special Christmas Decoration' display in the People's Supermarket is just that. Having studied at the Slade School of Fine Art she likes to use frozen food in her artwork, so we thought it would be a good idea to give her some Jude's Ice Cream frozen food!! www.harukaono.com

This Saturday the Jude's Ice Cream Honeycomb Crunch is making a special appearance at a pop-up restaurant with Anna Hansen's The Modern Pantry at the Taste of Christmas show.
At the restaurant they will be raising money for the charity Action Against Hunger, we really like what they do!

The season of advent has started and December is just days away along with the Jude's Ice Cream Christmas party. Jude is busily preparing copious amounts of gravy whilst the rest of the team are madly rushing around finding last minute secret santa gifts…Kath thinks she already knows who her secret santa is!!

Jude's New Friend!

There was all sorts of excitement at Jude's Ice Cream this weekend, in particular Jude is pretty excited about her new friend! She spied him across the street and it was non other than actor Mark Wahlberg who was filming for his latest role.
In true Jude style she strode right up to him and introduced herself…apparently he is a lovely guy and now they are friends!!
