Freakshakes for Halloween

We've whipped up some supernatural freakshakes this Halloween to celebrate all things terrifyingly tasty. The secret to making a freakshake is to know that the messier, the better. Our Salted Caramel Shake and Chocolate Peanut Butter Crunch are sweet, screamy and moreish.

INGREDIENTS

SALTED CARAMeL SHAKE 

Jude's Salted Caramel Ice Cream 
Salted Caramel sauce
Salted pretzels 
Mini donuts
Gold sprinkles
Chocolate for melting
Whipped cream from a can
Milk

CHOCOLATE PEANUT BUTTER CRUNCH

Jude's Truly Chocolate Ice Cream 
Jude's Peanut Butter Chocolate Ripple Ice Cream 
Mini brownies
Chocolate sauce
Malteasers - crushed and whole
Crunchy peanut butter
Chocolate sprinkles
Chocolate for melting
Whipped cream from a can
Milk - chocolate or unflavoured

THE METHOD

STEP 1.

Melt the chocolate in a bowl in the microwave until smooth. Take your jar or handled glass and dip the rim in the melted chocolate and then into the sprinkles. For the Salted Shake use the melted chocolate as a glue to stick the pretzels around the rim of the glass. Place the glasses in the fridge to set. 

STEP 2.

Once set remove from fridge and fill the glass with your ice cream (alternating between chocolate and peanut butter ripple for the crunch shake).

STEP 3.

In amongst the ice cream include your crushed malteasers, spoonfuls of peanut butter and your chocolate or salted caramel sauce.

STEP 4.

Fill up the glass with milk. Chocolate or unflavoured - whatever you fancy. Pour more sauce over the shake and watch it trickle down the glass.  

STEP 5.

Squirt the cream over the top - the taller the better!

STEP 6.

Add more sprinkles and sauce over the cream. Decorate with brownies/mini donuts/malteasers. 

STEP 7.

Stick in a colourful straw (or two if you feel like sharing) and sip yourself into a stupendous stupor.
