Last week we wheeled our Jude's tricyle down to the village cricket pitch to enjoy the Easton Village Fete and sell ice cream to raise money for local charities. In total £6,500 was raised for the village hall and church. Our vicar, Rev. Jonathon Cruickshank was overheard saying - through a mouthful of Victoria sponge - that the quality of the WI tea and cakes stand was as high as he could remember.
