We have been pleasantly suprised this week by visits from all sorts of colourful birds. Not only do we get regular visits from the family of pheasants who live in the wood, but a green woodpecker has started passing through the orchard most days at lunch. Strangest of all though, has been the appearance of a fully grown male peacock who appears early in the morning on our thatched roof!
